Calendar of Events
This year's walk will be held on Sunday, October 3rd at Hiawatha Lake. Check-in begins at 1:30, and the walk begins at 2:00. Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty is a branch of Church World Service. CROP Walks help fight hunger and poverty around the world and at home. 25% of what we raise will come back to Brown/Doniphan County to assist the food pantries. Please support our walkers who will be part of the "God Squad Team."

The Presbyterian Women of the Presbytery of Northern Kansas will have their Fall Gathering on Thursday, October 12th in Salina. If you would like to attend, please contact Deloris Ripple or Roxie Sullivan.
Circle will gather at the home of Barbara Rupe. Devotions will be given by Deloris Ripple, and Roxie Sullivan will give the Bible Study lesson.
Serving will begin at noon. With many delicious salads to appreciate, please plan to attend and enjoy the fellowship as women of the church.

The Presbytery of Northern Kansas will hold its Stated Meeting on Tuesday, October 19th at the Webster Conference Center in Salina beginning at 8:30 am. Please keep the presbytery in your prayers as they meet.
The congregation will meet on Sunday, October 31st to hear the report of the nominating committee. Please pray for the committee as they look for those willing to serve our church in the coming years. If God is calling you to be either an Elder or Deacon, please talk with Deb Wright or Roxie Sullivan.
Thanksgiving service for Women Uniting in Christ at Trinity UMC on Monday, November 15th. Fellowship at 9:00 with the program to follow at 9:30. Hope to see you there.
The Hiawatha Ministerial Alliance will host a Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 21st at 6:00 pm. This service will begin with a soup tasting reminding us that many in the world only have soup to eat. The message will be given by Pastor Bill Worcester of First Christian Church.
This annual service to prepare the worship space for the Advent and Christmas Seasons will be held during worship on Sunday, November 28th.
