This gathering of the Presbyterian Women of the Presbytery will take place in Topeka at Second Presbyterian Church. Reservations must be made by April 4th. Call the church office to make reservations. This is always a fun day.
The Presbytery of Northern Kansas will hold their Stated Meeting at First Presbyterian Church in Lawrence.
The Deacons are hosting a weiner roast and kite fly at noon at the Chapman farm north of Falls City. Because of construction, you will need to take Hwy 75 up into Nebraska then turn right onto Hwy 73 north of Dawson in order to get to the Chapman Farm. Hope you can join us for this fun time in the spring sun. Bring your favorite kite, or there will be kites available so we can 'soar' together.
'And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind and it filled the entire house where they were sitting' (Acts 2:21): So begins the reading for Pentecost. This year we celebrate the birthday of the church on May 23rd. Please wear red to the worship service in remembrance of the 'tongues of fire' that rested on the head of each disciple.
